The Maximise Weekend
22nd-24th May 2026
The Maximise Weekend is an opportunity for everyone from across our Maximise family of Churches to gather for a weekend of teaching, worship and fun activity for all ages.

It's a Bank Holiday weekend so the weekend programme will start on Friday evening and end on Sunday evening.
Theme and Speakers
This year, the theme for the weekend is 'Making A Difference', and we will be joined by speakers Paul and Sarah Williams to help us explore this.

Paul is the CEO of Bible Society and is passionate about helping the church engage missionally in contemporary culture. Sarah is a historian, gifted teacher, write and communicator. They both come highly recommended.

We will also hear from Andy and Emma Barclay-Watt and Mark Mumford, who will be sharing with us on the Sunday.
Programme
The programme starts with dinner at 6.30pm on the Friday and the final session finishes at 7.30pm on Sunday.

There will be teaching sessions each morning and evening and the afternoons will be free for social activities, including indoor and outdoor games, use of the swimming pool, a table tennis tournament, and much more! There will also be social activities each evening after the main sessions.

On Saturday, there will be a choice of seminars and ministry training opportunities. We will share communion on Sunday morning with all ages gathered together.

There will be plenty of time across the weekend to meet old and new friends.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available each day, including a hog roast on the Saturday.

There will be a prayer room available throughout the weekend as a place for quiet reflection.
Kids and Youth
There will lots of fun and engaging activities for children and youth too!

During each of the main teaching sessions, there will be separate activities for children aged 5 and above. This will be led by Emily and Nathan, who also led the children's work at our most recent Maximise Day.

Youth will have a separate programme over the weekend which is specifically tailored to them, and we hope to make it feel like a 'youth weekend away'. There will be a designated study space too for those with upcoming exams.

For under 5s, there will be a creche available during the daytime sessions, and we hope to have a more organised programme for those aged 2.5 to 4 years old.
